The Low Inertia design reduces the rotational mass during starts and stops, allowing for increased cycles per minute and reduced deceleration times.
This advantage also leads to reduced heat generation during dynamic braking conditions. Low Inertia Clutches are available in 1, 2, or 3plate construction with diameters ranging from 6 through 60 inches.
