JM Torque-Limiting Permanent Magnet Couplings (TL-PMCs) utilize magnetic induction principles to deliver precise torque control while maintaining a fully non-contact connection between motor and load. This innovative design consists of two independent components:

High-Strength Permanent Magnet Disk – Mounted on the load shaft, generating a powerful magnetic field.

Copper-Embedded Conductor Disk – Installed on the motor shaft, inducing eddy currents for torque transmission.

The relative motion between the disks creates eddy currents in the conductor, producing a strong magnetic coupling force. By adjusting the air gap between the magnet and conductor disks, the TL-PMC precisely regulates output torque, ensuring optimal performance while protecting the motor from overload.
