I. Regular Inspections Prevent Component Damage
The bearing lubrication of the hydraulic coupling uses the same oil as the working fluid. If the oil is not clean, the bearing wear will be accelerated. In addition, the oil supply pump, valve, pipeline, cooler and other components have high requirements for the cleanliness of the working oil. If the working oil is not clean, it may damage the oil pump, valve, block the pipeline and oil filter, cooler, and cause the working oil to be unable to circulate, so that the hydraulic coupling cannot work properly. Regular inspections can detect oil quality problems in time and avoid damage to these components.
II. Regular Oil Changes Ensure Stable Operation
The hydraulic coupling is regularly changed according to regulations. The purpose is to replace the deteriorated and contaminated working oil in time and reduce failures caused by unqualified working oil. The specific oil change requirements are as follows:
The oil needs to be changed after 500 hours of operation to remove metal chips and debris generated after running-in;
After that, the oil needs to be changed every 2000 hours of operation;
When changing the oil, the coupling housing, oil tank and filter, etc. need to be cleaned;
Qualified hydraulic transmission working oil must be used, and the oil must not contain other impurities.
III. Other Maintenance Precautions
Install a protective cover and ensure ventilation and heat dissipation: When the hydraulic coupling is running, if there are accidents such as loose bolts and rupture of elastic disks, parts may fly out and injure people, and workers may also be injured by touching rotating parts, so a protective cover needs to be installed. At the same time, since it relies on air cooling for heat dissipation, the protective cover must ensure ventilation and heat dissipation.
Professional disassembly and maintenance: The hydraulic coupling is mostly made of aluminum alloy. If you do not pay attention to the easily damaged parts during disassembly, it needs to be operated by professionals using professional tools. The equipment has been balanced when leaving the factory. It must be marked when disassembling so that it can be balanced when reinstalled. It cannot be disassembled at will.
