As the core component of modern industrial transmission system, hydraulic coupling plays an important role in power, chemical, construction and other industries. To ensure the long-term stable operation of equipment, the following are the key points for maintenance:


I.  Selection and Management of Working Fluid


Priority is given to 32# turbine oil as the standard working medium.

Key indicator requirements:

Viscosity at 50℃: 22~32㎡/s

Flash point ≥ 180℃

Good lubricity and corrosion resistance


Regularly test oil quality and replace aged oil in a timely manner for hydrodynamic couplings.

II. Running Direction Specification


Confirm that the rotation direction of input/output ends is consistent

The torque-limiting coupling can be used in both directions, but frequent forward and reverse switching should be avoided

The working machine should maintain normal operation at rated speed


III. Start-stop Operation Specification


Strict Frequent start and stop operations are prohibited

Continuous operating temperature should be controlled below 90℃

Special attention:

High temperature will cause loss of fusible plug alloy

Overheating may cause the risk of working fluid injection


IV. Daily Maintenance Focus

Regularly check the status of seals

Monitor the operating temperature of bearings

Keep the cooling system unobstructed

Establish a preventive maintenance plan

High temperature scald protection measures

Abnormal vibration timely investigation
