However, hydraulic transmission has the limitation of large resistance loss and is not suitable for long-distance power transmission.

Pneumatic transmission uses air as the working medium, and the working pressure is usually less than 1MPa. Due to the compressibility of air, the power transmitted is small, and the movement stability is not as good as hydraulic transmission. However, air has low viscosity, small resistance loss during transmission, fast speed and sensitive response, so it is suitable for long-distance transmission. Especially in harsh environments such as flammable, explosive, dusty, strong magnetic, radiation, and vibration, the safety and adaptability of pneumatic transmission far exceed hydraulic, electronic and electrical control methods, and can play a stable role.
