Among flexible couplings, general non-metallic elastic couplings often have problems such as small torque transmission, poor reliability, and inconvenient replacement when the elastic body is damaged. However, the H-type flex coupling has many advantages due to its unique design.
The H-type elastic coupling has various structural forms, mainly including two half-couplings (hubs), a driving disc, a driven disc and an H-shaped elastic body. This structural design gives it significant advantages: large torque transmission, enhanced torque rigidity and overlap, which can withstand considerable torque; high reliability, can stably cope with a variety of working conditions; the elastomer is easy to disassemble. When the elastomer is worn, only part of the elastic block needs to be replaced, and the H-type flexible coupling can be adjusted according to the worn part of the elastomer, so as to protect its smooth operation and extend the service life of the elastomer.
In terms of performance, the H-type elastic coupling can withstand various deviations and has outstanding capabilities in correcting deflection, axial deviation and eccentricity. However, its performance characteristics also determine that it is suitable for light-load applications.
In summary, the H-type flexible coupling (similar as N-Eupex Type )performs well in terms of structural design, torque transmission, reliability and elastomer maintenance, effectively making up for the shortcomings of general non-metallic elastic couplings and is an ideal choice for light-load applications.
